The MotoTec Electric Powered Trike aka Personal Transporter is a three wheel electric scooter that you can ride while sitting or standing, this makes it very convenient for use at events, security and warehouse floor operations or for just plain fun! It's like a three wheel Segway but at a fraction of the price! Powered by an 800 watt front wheel hub motor with speeds up to 25 miles per hour. It can achieve a 15-20 mile range on a full charge. It features a 16" pneumatic front tire, two 12" pneumatic rear tires, a removable seat and removable battery pack. This personal transporter is easy-to-operate with a twist throttle and left handle front drum brake system. Comes standard with key, battery meter light, front LED head light and carrying basket.

My new Moto Tec 48 volt 800 watt Trike

The frame of this trike is metal and seems to be pretty strong; however, the fenders, battery box and foot platform are just plastic. One of my back fenders cracked second time I rode it and battery box cracked the next time! That shows how cheaply made they are. China 🙄!! I emailed the company, Epic Wheelz, and they referred me to their support company and they were all really great to work with, and immediately sent me replacement parts. They will most likely crack later also. Plastic 😡😡😡. My throttle is super sensitive, and unless you take off extremely slow it will spin and actually lift the front wheel up some. I think the throttle grabs too quickly, on mine, anyway! Definitely more speed and power than this 73 year old lady needs. There is certainly no issue with its speed and power if that is what you are looking for. It will definitely fly. I have not gotten to ride it enough to know how long the batteries will go on a charge. It seems to work sort of like pulling an RV; when you see a hill coming up you need to pick up some speed to keep your speed going up the hill. I think it will work fine for our camping trips if the roads are paved. It does not go well at all in the grass, dirt, gravel or even wet pavement! I would not recommend this for a young person! I’m sure if you turn it around quickly it would probably flip you. This, in my opinion, is definitely not a disability scooter. I am still really nervous with it, but like I said, I am an older person. I think it will eventually be a lot of fun. Just be careful!! As I said before the company I ordered from as well as the support company were absolutely fantastic to deal with, so I would definitely give them a five. For the money, the quality of the trike would be a two. Have fun and be careful!

The trikes are great and fun to ride. I had a few issues with the trikes like the brake shut down switch on both trikes but once I unplugged them everything was great.

We love our Moto Tec Trike!! We ordered 2 of them!!! We had to wait on them for 2 months but when we finally received them we have really enjoyed riding them!! My husband and I are limited to our walking! I would recommend the Moto Tec 48v 800w Electric Trike to anyone!!

Thank you Epic Wheelz. You have a very very happy customer here! I was worried that it wouldn't come because it was sold out everywhere. I spoke with a rep from Epic Wheelz and they assured us that they trike would come in we'd just have to preorder it and it'd would arrive from overseas in a couple of weeks. They alerted us a couple of weeks later that it was back in stock and they shipped it out to us! This arrive on time and well packed. The assembly was easy enough, all in all, a good trike and well worth the price paid! You're going to love it because its has a Lot of power and the brakes work well. The seat is wide and speeds are good. I get a lot of people asking about the scooter daily!
