Awesome platform, but not without issues

Customer service at Epic Wheelz was great including communication, speed of shipping, etc. Overall, the Mototec is a great bike and looks awesome. It's much quicker than you'd expect at this price point. Front suspension is good, rear suspension is overly soft, but you can stiffen it up with a suspension pump and adjusting the coil spring so my 165lbs no longer bottoms it out like it did out of the box. My 8yo son loves it, and it's a blast for me to ride as well. Top speed is around 25mph (which you can turn down with the dial if you want). There are three significant problems: 1) The ID plate wasn't on the motor but there was sticky residue so you could see there used to be on there at some point, and the wattage of the motor was blacked-out with a sharpie in the manual. This clearly tells us that this is intentional and is therefore very disturbing. These either come with 1500w or 1600w motors, but now I don't know which version I have. Why do this? Are they trying to hide something?? 2) It arrived with cable brakes, but others guys said theirs came with hydraulic brakes. Getting the lesser brake option is disappointing. 3) The wheels are very out of true. This is primarily a radial issue resulting in "hop" but there is also some lateral movement as well. Rear is worse than front. This can be adjusted, but at >$1000, I'd expect them to not be so dramatically out of whack. To be clear, none of these issues are the fault of EpicWheelz. These are Mototec issues, but it's worth mentioning just so your expectations are realistic.
